Level 1 Grill RestaurantThe middle level of Manly Greenhouse introduces a refined, casual yet elegant restaurant where the menu centres around a wood and charcoal fired grill. The menu features items such as an 800g Riverina ribeye, whole wood roasted John Dory and wood-fired Yamba prawns with shellfish butter. The side dishes are also a must try with wood charred creamed corn, crispy duck fat potatoes and a baked mushroom and taleggio pie (big enough for the entire table to share).
To complement the food offering, Lofi Wines co-founder James Audas has created a unique wine list led by natural varieties. The wine list focuses on producers who ethically farm and make wines with care and intention. Of the wine list Audas says "We respect the traditions from producers past and embrace the new techniques and styles with a focus on smaller lesser know producers". The Grill wine list has just been awarded a 'Three Goblet' rating in the prestigious Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards.
